Over the years I've lived in lots of different places and I know how tough it can be to find a vet you can trust when you're new to an area. You don't want to wait until you need a veterinarian to look for one. Establishing a relationship with a good animal doc before there is an emergency is the best practice. You don't want to be fumbling around booking an appointment with someone you don't know when there is an emergency, do you? I know I don't.
I'm glad my pets are all in good health and they only require their annual visits. Those are so important to be sure you catch any problems early, so they don't become big issues needing serious medical care.
Our pets are important in our lives, mine are my family. It's necessary for us to give them the care that they need. My puppy hasn't figured out how to make those appointments on her own yet, has yours?
